As a PDE Metrology/RDA Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you willbe responsible forfacilitatingimprovement of manufacturing capability, executing global business processes, and enabling the leverage of world-wide resources to deliver Best-In-Class performance. Yourobjectiveis to drive global peer groups to align andoptimizemanufacturingperformance,which will include involvement in resolving tactical issuesby focusing on manufacturing big rock performance gaps (metrics) andleveragethe global network to define solutions that can be driven across all sites. You will work with your customers on benchmarking these metrics to improve performance in the Micron Backend.
Thisposition requiressignificant exploratory work insupporting theTD developmentto characterize the processby supporting engineeringrecipe in various metrology and inspection workstation and working withTech DevelopmentEngineeringteam,Global and SiteQuality, Central Engineering, Global Purchasing and Planning groups to review and evaluate manufacturing changes.Additional responsibilities include the knowledge and use of statistical tools and concepts to ensure the quality ofmeasurement/inspectiondata generated and the requirements needed of the Metro/RDA TOR.You are capable to collaborate effectively with your partners and customers, willing and capable of international travel, as needed, toaccomplishyour objectives.
Key responsibilities and task
Support Metro/RDA MTEP Evaluation, Decision Analysis, developand manage projects designed to reduce cost, improve throughput, reduce tool measurementvariability,and perform research and develop new metrology capabilities to improve detectioncapability.
Partner with the metrology/RDA tool vendors to develop new hardware, software, and technologies related to recipe and hardware performanceimprovements.
Responsible forinspection&measurementrecipe development
We work closely with different teams to understand any relationship across defense line and feasibility of shift left activities.
Analysis correlation between wafer fabrication parameters and backend manufacturing issues toidentifyopportunities for gap closure, and work with process integration team to reach a resolution.
Establish and define Metrology/RDA Business Process
Developmethodologyfor Metro/Inspection Data Continuity across all metro/RDAsteps.
Establish Recipe Setup (POR) and Change Protocol for all Metro/RDAworkstationstypes.
Good data analysis, statistical analysis, data interpretation skills to support the product developmentwork.
JobRequirements
Masters/Bachelors in Engineering
Relevant working experiences in RDA and/or Metrology
At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor industry.
Good communicationskill,maintaina strong and open relationship with peer group andappropriate teammembers in other functional areas such as Process Integration Engineering, Quality Systems, Production Operations Management
Promoteglobal/networksharing and transfer of area-specific domainknowledge
Proficiency,experienceand knowledge relating to product and test wafercapacitymodeling, wafer at risk modeling, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) concept and system, defect analysis tools, sampling strategy and systems, Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools, Cycle Time Management, tableau creation, SQL and Programming language and Organization Change Management have advantage.
Python, Tableau,PowerBIskillset will bea great valueto thisposition
Hands on in recipe development for inspection and measurement workstation such as KLA, Rudolph, Nordson, CAMTEKpreferred
Travel to Singapore, China and India are required
