About the role
As a Farm Worker at GENTING PLANTATIONS BERHAD, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our plantation in Kinabatangan, Sabah. This is a full-time position that involves hands-on work in the field, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our farming operations.
What you'll be doing Assisting with planting, harvesting, and other agricultural tasks on the plantationMaintaining and operating farm machinery and equipmentMonitoring crop health and identifying and addressing any issues or concernsImplementing best practices for sustainable and environmentally-friendly farmingAdhering to all safety protocols and regulationsCollaborating with the wider farming team to achieve overall operational goalsWhat we're looking for Previous experience in a similar farm worker or agricultural roleGood physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasksFamiliarity with farm machinery and equipment operationStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsCommitment to sustainable and environmentally-conscious farming practicesA team player with good communication and interpersonal skillsWhat we offer
