What you'll do:  Partnering with Managers to ensure end to end onboarding of the Newsomers over their first 90 days lives up to Osome expectations, sets them up for success and for passing their probation.
Being comfortable with managing stakeholders, such as managers, colleagues, and peers, which includes mentoring, coaching, constructively challenging, and supporting your managers.
Supporting employee performance management, tracking their progression, providing training, and ensuring that every Osomer feels fulfilled and capable of doing their best work.
Providing consultation on daily employee queries and issues related to pay, performance, policies, and procedures in line with Osome's policies and local employment regulations.
Managing administrative duties related to people management, such as contracts for new hires, letters, criminal record checks, reference checks, and other tasks.
Own the employee lifecycle and balance the company's interests with employees' well-being.
Support the development of Osome's policies and compliance, ensuring clarity and acceptance within the team as these develop.
Providing support to Managers on any ER issues.
Leads basic performance improvement, disciplinary and grievance meetings offering pragmatic solutions to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Own the maintenance of data and employee changes in HiBob, and continuously seek ways to improve processes.
Comfortable with Operational People tasks, improving process gaps and working with the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) we have for People tasks.
Confident and able to hold difficult conversations, such as terminations, disciplinary cases and misconduct.
Update and review the monthly payroll process with any changes and liaise with the Finance team.
Contribute to people-related projects and company initiatives, such as running focus groups, mental health programs, diversity and inclusion efforts, benefits administration, internal communications, data analysis, and employee engagement initiatives.
Sharing minimal office tasks to ensure safety and wellbeing for the teams.
Who you are:  Candidates should have proven experience in a similar People Advisor role.
Solid experience with Malaysia employment regulations.
Passionate about People and Talent.
Candidates should have excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders.
Appreciation and understanding of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with people-related activities.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
Seeks new ways to improve people processes and outcomes, and consistently contributes to enhancing these processes.
Confident in leading the onboarding process for new hires and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.
Demonstrated success in embodying and promoting a company's brand.
Comfortable using Google software and tools.
Experience in using HRIS HiBob would be a significant plus.
