About the RoleOur People and Culture Business Partner role works with our leaders to provide strategic advice and implementation across all things people including, employment relations, mobility, career development, rewards and recognition and talent acquisition.
In this role you will be the go-to person for all things people in Malaysia ensuring we provide the best solutions for our business and our people.About YouWe are looking for a person that is pragmatic, hands on and can balance project work with day to day execution aligning their geography for long term sustainability and success with the other Daifuku Oceania geographies.
We need someone that can do as well as partner.To be successful in the role we are looking for:5+ years HR experience in a complex business in a similar role, 7+ years in a generalist rolePrevious demonstrated business partnering experienceExperience working with unionised workforcesA broad generalist knowledge across all areas of People and Culture, employment relations, benefits, leave, mobility, learning and developmentPrevious experience in a engineering, manufacturing or IT environment is preferredProven experience in leading the People and Culture function and confident in Business PartneringIn addition to strong technical abilities you will need to be able to:Work as an effective member of the onsite and offsite team to help achieve our people goalsDemonstrate initiative, provide suggestions and implement changeBe customer focused and ensure high-quality solutions are delivered at all timesDemonstrate effective written and oral communication both with internal and external customers across a variety of levels and backgrounds.For YouYou would become part of a high performing team passionate about our people and their success.
