We are looking for a passionate and talented individual to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Head – Growth & Martech, this regional role places you right at the beating heart of the Marketing function.
The analytics aspect of the role leverages a deep understanding of our customers through exploration and analysis of our valuable data asset, market research, market intelligence, and competitor research. The analytics function unifies and rallies the various teams through insights-driven recommendations in order to do what is best for our stakeholders – Paid channels. Our recommendations are not limited to the realms of what the Marketing team can influence, but it can also span into other areas of the business such as product assortment, user experience on our platforms (web and mobile), etc.
This role will provide critical insights for strategy building and budget planning, that will allow the various marketing team members to scale at efficiency, improve productivity and manage big strategic projects and transformations. We ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution in day-to-day operations, and help build a foundation for excellence by reinforcing marketing strategy using key performance metrics, developing scalable infrastructure, and optimizing business processes.
Responsibilities:
This role will be focused on strategic, long-term, and impactful analysis that will aid the team in making intelligent decisions that are data driven, as well as supporting a portion of the Project Management initiatives.
i) Strategic Analysis:
Which metrics have the biggest impact on our customers and business results?
Which KPIs are most critical in 'moving the needle' when it comes to our scaling new user growth by keeping efficiency in place?
With the data at hand, what trends can we uncover to understand our channels and consumer behaviour better and reactively address their needs?
How do we optimally operationalize the measurement of these KPIs on an ongoing basis?
ii) Planning:
Determine which customers to target for marketing campaigns using analytical techniques including statistical clustering, RFM segmentation, market basket / affinity analysis, decile analysis, regression modelling, propensity modelling.
Predict when and what customers will buy and help to build effective and high converting SKU list for landing pages.
iii) Hygiene / Operations:
Track critical performance KPIs and perform post-campaign analysis.
Track and measure customer quality and migration / brand health.
Track effectiveness of promotions.
Daily report preparations.
Closely work with finance on budget allocation, tracking, and management.
Manage strategic projects and transformations within Marketing.
Respond to changing market trends and requirements by keeping an eye out for new practices and technologies that will improve and optimize the marketing department's performance.
Requirements:
Minimum 4 years working experience in a related field or management consulting.
Has a strong technical background. Proficiency in Tableau and any of these programming languages SQL / SAS/ R / Python is preferred.
Previous marketing analytics experience is preferred.
Great project and stakeholder management skills, as well as strong communication skills.
High level of initiative with a good ability to perform under time pressure or tight deadlines.
Minimally a Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering, Business Admin, Marketing or related fields.
