Purpose of the role
The Performance Marketing Specialist will support in planning, implementing, and reporting on paid omni-channel digital campaigns across client accounts. This person will take a pro-active and analytical approach in developing paid digital strategies and campaigns; from channel and audience planning, campaign implementation, optimising for efficiencies and reporting internal and client stakeholders.
Key responsibilities and tasks
Client Management
Assists the team with the management of client accounts and projects.
Offers insightful advice and recommendations to clients and team regarding digital tactics and online opportunities based off data.
Supports relationships with clients, establishing self and LEWIS pulse as an invaluable long-term partner for digital communications services.
Coordinates communication with select clients, internal stakeholders and ensures deadlines and service agreements are adhered to.
Participates in the business development process by supporting with pitch preparation and research.
Performance Marketing
Assists team in developing paid digital strategies and plans across various online platforms that meets the clients' objectives e.g. Meta, TikTok, programmatic, display, YouTube, SEM, LinkedIn.
Conducts analysis or research on audience, keywords, past report/ benchmarks support the development of effective multi-channel digital campaigns.
Prepares media diary - creative material specifications for all ad formats and timelines to be shared with creative liaison or account team lead to manage delivery timelines.
Prepares ad tracking and/or serving tags; ensures required pixels are shared with client or team lead.
Sets up campaigns and ensures approved bidding, scheduling, budget, targeting etc strategies, creatives, url, ad tracking are implemented accurately.
Optimizes campaign, audience, creative, budgets and bids across multiple channels to achieve campaign goals based on aligned frequency.
Coordinates with creative and content teams to develop ad copy and creative and iterate based on campaign performance.
Troubleshoots campaign problem areas, and suggests a course of action.
Identifies growth and scale opportunities.
Maintains accurate budget tracking, communicating potential under or overspends with account lead.
Keeps abreast of digital trends, maintains relationships with vendor representatives, and proactively shares knowledge with the full team.
Reporting and Analysis
Works with analytics team to ensure all data into reports, and dashboards are accurate and done timely.
Develops campaign reports based off data extracted and draws observations on trends, performance insights and actionable recommendations to be applied to the next campaign
Communicates campaign performance to internal and client stakeholders in a timely manner or upon request.
General
Takes a proactive role in promoting the LEWIS brand, its work, identity, and values.
Supports the HR/talent team by promoting both internal and external opportunities at TEAM LEWIS across social media and via the referral scheme.
Contributes and supports the continuous improvement of systems, practices and policies.
Overall, is a guardian of best marketing practice.
About You
At least 2 years of experience in a digital media agency or in-house position with experience in executing paid digital media campaigns, including paid social, paid search, and display.
Confident in performance media activation; hands-on experience on self-service biddable platforms.
Experience in using and/or knowledge of Google Analytics 4 is advantageous.
Passionate about and engaged with the fast-changing world of performance and digital marketing.
Keen interest in understanding client business issues and requirements and how you can support.
Strong project management skills with an ability to plan and prioritise.
Acute attention to detail, comfortable managing and analysing campaign data.
Calmness under pressure and ability to be agile in managing and achieving tight deadlines.
Proven competency in managing a varied workload.
Ability to interact confidently with mid to senior internal and external (client) stakeholders.
