Key Responsibilities:
Teaching and Curriculum Development:
Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions in Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Technology.Design and update curriculum materials in line with Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) standards and industry best practices.Student Mentorship and Support:
Guide and mentor students in academic and research activities, providing support to enhance their learning experience.Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, particularly in areas related to clinical and pharmaceutical practice.Research and Scholarly Activity:
Engage in research activities relevant to Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Technology, aiming for publications in peer-reviewed journals.Participate in grant applications and collaborative research projects that contribute to the university's research profile.Academic Administration:
Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum review panels, and accreditation processes to uphold academic quality.Participate in student assessment, grading, and feedback to support continuous improvement in academic standards.Qualifications:
A PhD or Master's degree in Pharmacy or a closely related field, with specialization in Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Technology preferred.Must be a licensed pharmacist, registered with the Malaysian Pharmacy Board or an equivalent body recognized by the university.At least 2-3 years of teaching experience in a university setting is preferred, with a proven record of research and publications in relevant areas.Practical experience in a clinical or pharmaceutical technology role is advantageous.Strong command of pharmacology, pharmacy law, ethics, and relevant technologies.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.Competence in curriculum development and innovative teaching methods.Committed to academic excellence and professional development.A collaborative team player with a passion for mentoring and inspiring students.
