We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Icon Pharmacy, located at Icon Cancer Centre Wesley in Auchenflower, to help deliver optimum patient-centred care and pharmacy operations.
The pharmacy operates from 7:00am – 5:00pm weekdays, with varying start/finish times during those times. Once fully trained there is an expectation that the successful applicant will take part in on call and public holiday cover. In this role, you'll: Deliver high level pharmacy services to the hospital staff, patients and customers Dispense and supply medications for hospital and oncology patients Manufacturing specialised drugs in a state-of-the-art cleanroom environment Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management Undertake delivery and collection of medications to hospital wards Complete data entry of patient specific information into database Assist with patient account enquiries Liaise with hospital staff and associated employees Assist the pharmacy teams with any general administration Who are we?
