Pharmacy Technician, Per Diem

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, performs all assigned tasks and services related to medication distribution in an accurate, timely and safe manner. Maintains current California Pharmacy Technician Registration and certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. This is a Per Diem position which may require flexibility of hours and is eligible for overtime pay.

Education: Minimum high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency is required. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required.

Experience/Training: 2 years hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Current Pharmacy Technician Registration issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy. Certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
