As a Pizza Maker/ Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for the following job descriptions:
Produce various types of pizza according to specified recipes and standards.Operate the pizza section of the kitchen, collaborating with the chef to ensure a smooth and successful working environment.Shape and bake pizzas according to specified recipes and standards.Acquire the right type and quantity of ingredients by following pizza baking recipes and measuring ingredients accurately.Set oven heat to the appropriate temperature and wait for ovens to be heated before placing pizzas in them.Monitor timers to ensure that pizzas are baked properly and to perfection.Perform preventative maintenance on ovens regularly to ensure optimal performance.Assist with other duties as required by the job.As a Company, we are looking for a Pizza Maker/Pizza Chef who possesses these job requirements:
Diploma in culinary arts or a related field.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a pizza maker or similar role preferred.Familiarity with pizza-making techniques, ingredients, and equipment.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Must demonstrate attention to detail and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for effective collaboration in the kitchen.Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods are required for this role.
