Ideal Candidate
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and suppliers to align activities with the project timeline.
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules to address delays or unforeseen issues.
Prepare progress reports and present them to project managers and stakeholders.
Identify and manage potential risks, developing contingency plans as needed.
Communicate schedule updates and critical path changes to relevant teams.
Ensure project scope changes are reflected in the schedule and assess their impact on timelines.
Maintain records of project schedules, revisions, and communications.
The Profile
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of construction methods and procedures.
Proficient in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or Asta Powerproject.
Strong project management skills, including balancing multiple tasks and timelines.
Analytical skills to forecast project timelines and identify potential issues.
Excellent communication skills to convey plans and risks to stakeholders.
Problem-solving ability to handle challenges and ensure project stays on track.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in construction planning.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage.
Proficient in planning and scheduling tools.
