Location: Malaysia-PenangResponsibilities:To be responsible for reviewing customer Purchase Orders and committing the Sales Department for the delivery date in Sales Order Detail.
To be responsible for releasing Work Orders upon receiving Sales Order Detail from the Sales Department.
To provide Production Schedule to production.
To update Material Shortage Report, advise quantity order requests, and work closely with Buyer for raw material delivery dates.
To issue Material Issue Note (MIN) to Warehouse for preparing material for Production.
To ensure work orders are completed in a timely, accurate manner.
Monitor materials fulfillment and WIP utilization.
To implement production planning and monitor production output to meet customer requirements and delivery dates.
To resolve any issues arising from the issuance of raw material.
The Material Control shall resolve any excess issues, investigate the reasons for excess issues, and create systems to minimize recurrence.
Authorized not to create work orders if there are no Sales Orders.
Authorized to not accept customer pull-ins if at full capacity and to hold the production line if receiving notice of ECN or Non-Conformance.
Qualifications:Candidate must possess a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent.
Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires interaction with Mandarin speakers.
