Planning & Reporting Analyst (1 Year Contract)The Planning & Reporting Analyst holds a key finance position as the right hand to the P&R Manager.
As the organization is a listed company, this also includes supporting Bursa reporting and BOD presentations.
This position contributes to profitable growth strategies by planning and coordinating, improving, and implementing critical financial processes and procedures.
This position will report to the P&R Manager.
Job Responsibilities:
Performance ManagementSupport the Planning & Reporting team in preparing financial reports and tracking performance.
Assist in identifying opportunities to improve profitability and drive business goals.
Help develop tools and processes to enhance business insights and decision-making.
Business PerformanceMonitor cash flow and work with teams to improve collections and payments.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Use benchmarks and technology to streamline processes and reduce lead times.
Promote financial awareness and support teams in understanding key metrics.
Financial Planning & AnalysisAssist in monthly and quarterly reporting on forecasting for P&L and cash flow.
Help prepare budgets and financial plans in collaboration with different departments.
Monitor costs (e.g., SG&A) and support budget owners to manage expenses effectively.
Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities to support growth.
Stewardship / ComplianceCo-own management of Tax and other compliance risks.
Act as steward for the company and actively engage the organization oninternal controls .
Key Requirements:
Professional Accounting qualification and/or Degree in Finance.
Solid knowledge of IFRS/MFRS.
Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably in FMCG environment with minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience at a managerial level.
Broad business experience, e.g., fulfilled Finance roles in Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and/or Planning & Reporting.
Preferably has worked in a Bursa listed company before and understands the requirements.
Be consumer and customer centric with an in-depth understanding (outside-in view).
Solid SAP and Hyperion knowledge.
Excellence in managing relationships with related stakeholders in the company.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude.
Strong problem-solving skills required, with a continuous improvement mindset.
