Plant & Machinery Manager

Manage the selection, purchase, and rental of construction machinery and equipment.
Create and execute a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Oversee and manage a team of equipment operators and maintenance staff.
Offer training and direction to staff on equipment usage and safety procedures.
Oversee the budget for plant and machinery operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of resources.

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards for machinery operation.
Perform regular safety audits and risk assessments, taking corrective measures when necessary.
Keep a detailed inventory of all machinery and equipment, monitoring usage and maintenance records.
Oversee the disposal process for damaged  or outdated equipment.
Collaborate with project managers to identify machinery requirements for upcoming projects.
Work with other departments to ensure the prompt availability of equipment.
Requirements A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
At least 6 years of experience in plant and machinery management in the construction industry.
Demonstrated experience in equipment procurement, maintenance, and management.
