Plant Maintenance Engineer

Job description Responsibilities: Develop and implement maintenance procedures and processes to ensure optimal plant performance.
Perform regular inspections and maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities.
Carry out preparation for equipment maintenance and to ensure daily maintenance work carry out smoothly.
Supervise and guide the technician and contractors to carry out the good quality of maintenance services.
To investigate and report the actual causes of any delay.
To check the acceptance of project documents, vendor documents, method statement, working drawing and others are compliance with the requirement.
To check the revised drawing, construction plan and other documents involved submitted by contractors are proper & practical.
Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field.
Preferably at least 5 years experience in plant maintenance.
Good writing and oral skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Knowledge of Machine facilities (Statics / Rotating Equipment) or Instrument.
Basic computer skills (MS Office, Windows) Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
