Plant Manager (Kampar)

Malaysia - KamparWe are currently recruiting for a Plant Manager for our Kampar Limestone Processing Plant. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role is responsible for the safe, efficient and cost-effective operation of the plant, which includes mining, processing and maintenance activities of lime and limestone production to ensure the products meet quality and demand expectations whilst maintaining a good relationship within the community.The successful applicant will have;- Ability to provide leadership and management of the operation to ensure safe, efficient, sustainable and cost-effective production of lime and limestone. Strong people and general management skills is key to success.- Experience in managing and preparing budgets and ability to monitor and control expenditure to ensure delivery of required activities within budgeted Operating Expenditure (OpEx).- Ability to oversee safety, production processes, maintenance, quality, sustainability, and community engagement activities to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and Company requirements.- Provide resources and leadership to:- enable production capacity to build inventory to ensure finished product aligns to required volumes, quality and specifications to meet customer requirements.- communicate with customers (internal/external), employees, contractors, visitors, community and regulators on operational matters.- ensure performance expectations for employees are clear, monitored and managed.- implement plans to engage and retain employees and build capability in the workforce.- lead, coach, train and develop direct reports whilst building and maintaining a team working environment.
