Job Description We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and closure of the project portfolio across the Digital Customer Centricity team for Asia Pacific.
The PMO Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
This role will be part of APAC's Digital Customer Centricity & Regional Business IT team.
Key Responsibilities: Portfolio Management: Manage and track the regional organization's portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and strategic initiatives.
Project Governance: Establish and maintain project governance standards and methodologies to ensure consistency and transparency across all projects.
Enable the team manager to have a single-source-of-truth where to find everything about the current status of the ongoing projects (stage, tasks, stakeholders, documentation, etc.)
Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
Stakeholder Management: Facilitate communication between stakeholders, project teams, and senior leadership to ensure expectations and requirements are aligned.
Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain project performance metrics and KPIs to track project progress, identify risks, and ensure projects stay on track.
Risk and Issue Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring appropriate escalation when necessary.
Reporting: Provide regular status updates and reports to management, highlighting key achievements, risks, and areas requiring attention.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Budget Management: Ensure project budgets are well-managed, costs are tracked, and deviations are addressed promptly.
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Project Management, or related field; PMP, PRINCE2, CSP, PgMP or PfMP certification preferred.
Experience: Preferably 5+ years of experience in project management in an IT organization, with at least 2 years in a PMO or related role.
Skills: Strong knowledge of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, etc.).
Ability to analyze data and generate insights to drive decision-making.
Demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
