Responsibilities • Strategy and Planning •Nil •Policy, Process and Procedures •Manage the overallpany policy terms review process •Maintain product, system and process knowledge •Attend relevant product and skill courses and passing on relevant points to other staff •Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus •Ensure timelymunication with relevant stakeholders in respect to processing queries •Develop good working relationships with all internal customers and stakeholders •Technical Performance •Processing insurance quotations, new business, renewals plete underwriting and administrative duties such as •renewal underwriting review including prepare referral, premium calculation for approval •handling new and renewal business within designated underwriting authority •arrange policy, endorsement and certificate issuance •Update relevant registers including coded treaty register, new submission register and referral register •Maintain data in relevantputer systems and other databases •People Management •Nil Preferredpetencies/Skills • Good customer service and presentation skills • Goodmunication and interpersonal skills • High Proficiency inputer skill • Able to work independently with positive working attitude and willing to learn • Professional qualifications in insurance or related disciplines Preferred Experience • Minimum 1+ years' working experience in the finance/insurance industry with knowledge of all lines insurance products Preferred Knowledge • Basic knowledge of the insurance industry • Good Knowledge and understanding of general insurance products QBE Cultural DNA • Everything we do at QBE is underpinned by our DNA (which interlinks seven cultural elements) - because we know it's not just what we do that matters, it's how we do it that makes the difference.
