#### Job Description
Sapura Energy Berhad is seeking a passionate and adaptable PR Associate to join our dynamic team in George Town, Penang. As a pivotal member of our public relations department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility and reputation in the energy sector. Your creative ideas, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to conduct thorough research will help you contribute to our communication strategies.
#### Key Responsibilities
- **Media Relations:** Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with media professionals, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage of the company's initiatives, projects, and events.
- **Content Creation:** Generate compelling content for press releases, newsletters, blogs, and social media platforms that reflect the company's values and mission. Participate in the planning and execution of communications campaigns.
- **Research and Analysis:** Conduct research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and media engagement effectiveness to inform PR strategies and provide insights to the team.
- **Event Coordination:** Assist in the planning and execution of PR events, press conferences, and community outreach initiatives, ensuring that all logistics are handled efficiently.
- **Reporting:** Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports outlining PR activities and outcomes, including media mentions, social media engagement, and other relevant metrics. Present findings to management to guide future strategies.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments including marketing, human resources, and project teams to align PR activities with overall corporate goals.
- **Brand Management:** Support the development of brand messages and communications that resonate with target audiences, ensuring consistency of voice across all platforms.
- **Crisis Management:** Assist in managing communications during times of crisis, ensuring timely and appropriate messaging to stakeholders and the public.
#### Requirements
- **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- **Experience:** A minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related role.
- **Soft Skills:**
- **People Management:** Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage relationships smoothly.
- **Research Skills:** Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data relevant to PR initiatives.
- **Personality Traits:**

- **Adaptable:** Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to adjust priorities based on emerging needs and challenges.
