Pre-Sales Security Consultant

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. Strong understanding of DNS & NFS, SMTP, HTTP and TCP/IP. Knowledge of routing, switching, SSL VPN, LAN, WAN, network security, encryption and authentication technologies. At least 5 years relevant working experience, preferably in distribution or principal vendor background. Good command in spoken and written English. Excellent communication and presentation skill. Possess own transport and willing to travel around Klang Valley. Deliver IT security related consultancy across these solutions: firewall, 2 factor authentication, encryption, bandwidth management, IPAM, deep packet inspection. Involve in Proof-Of-Concept and product demonstration. Conduct Technology Update to the customers. Prepare Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submission. Generate technical proposal. Conduct business presentation. To be the main technical resource to answer and educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications and functionality to integration. Liaise with principal, internal sales team and product team to align solution design with customer's requirements.
