Job Summary:
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for teaching, planning, and assessing the development of young children in a group setting. This includes teaching the curriculum, developing lesson plans, and assessing each student's progress. The Preschool Teacher is also responsible for safety, monitoring the children and responding to emergencies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement lessons as outlined in the curriculum.
Provide age-appropriate supervision and discipline for children in accordance with the school's policies and procedures.
Foster a safe and comfortable environment through positive and encouraging words and actions to help the children feel comfortable with their surroundings.
Observe and assess the progress of the children's development.
Ensure all the necessary paperwork is completed according to the school's policies and procedures.
Attend staff meetings and trainings as needed.
Any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior.
Requirements:
Minimum SPM Qualification or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or in any field.
At least 1 year working experience in Early Childhood Education is an added advantage.
Must have the patience and passion to work with young children.
Passionately teach the creatively tailored curriculum set by Headquarter as well as create equally creative lesson plans.
Possess a positive attitude and adaptability.
Can speak in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaking is an added advantage.
