Key Accountabilities:As a presentation specialist, you will craft visually captivating presentations primarily using PowerPoint that effectively communicate complex information, ideas, and concepts. Collaborating with various teams and stakeholders, you'll transform raw data and content into engaging visual narratives.Additionally, you'll provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders and guide them in using best practices and design techniques to elevate their presentations to the next level.You will also be expected to work alongside the Creative Director and Studio Manager in assessing and implementing new technologies in the presentation space to help streamline production processes and to develop a more consistent approach to Ipsos deliverables throughout the APEC region.Key Performance Indicators:Create compelling Ipsos and client branded PowerPoint presentations, incorporating graphics, images, data visualisation, and multimedia elements that align with Ipsos and client branding requirements. Transform complex information into clear visual representations, utilizing infographics and content visualization techniques. Organize content cohesively and apply animations and transitions thoughtfully to enhance delivery. Design custom graphics and illustrations where required to reinforce presentation content. Craft presentations that captivate the audience and effectively convey messages through visual storytelling. Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to understand content requirements and refine presentation designs. Provide guidance and training on PowerPoint best practices, how to use a PowerPoint template, design techniques, file optimisation etc.Stay updated on current PowerPoint design and animation trends, consistently applying them to enhance stakeholder projects while still maintaining brand integrity. Continuously innovate and improve the presentation approach on PowerPoint.CompetenciesProfessional proficiency in PowerPoint design principles, encompassing usability, accessibility, and visual communication, extending beyond Microsoft Word expertise. The candidate will be required to show examples of previous PowerPoint solutions.Strong aesthetic sense with a focus on contemporary graphical styles within PowerPoint.Creative thinking for innovative PowerPoint design solutions.Understanding of fundamental design, typographical, colour and layout principlesAbility to create bullet-proof print-ready artThe ability to think creatively and deliver clever PowerPoint conceptsExcellent communication skills both written and verbal. Fluency in English is a must.Ability to see concepts to final design aligned with client guidelines and approved briefExcellent organisational skills – able to manage and take ownership of a variety of projects delivering to a high standard sometimes within tight deadlinesThe ability to keep a cool head and meet deadlinesProblem solving skillsProficiency in organising and conducting PowerPoint training sessions to internal stakeholders including presentation design best practices, storytelling fundamentals, developing online learning materials, printed guidelines and brand compliance to internal stakeholders Qualifications and ExperienceEducation and Experience:Recognised tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or related field3+ years minimum industry design experience specialising in presentation design in a mid to senior graphic design role. Previous experience as a Presentation Designer using PowerPoint is essential. Creative portfolio emphasising high-quality corporate PowerPoint design skillsSkill Sets:PowerPoint template design and enhancement skillsData visualization in PowerPoint, including aesthetic charting, tables, and graphsAbility to create customised charts and data to go 'one step beyond' normal charting parametersProficiency in PowerPoint animation tools and formatting optionsKnowledge of PowerPoint innovations, tips, and tricksGraphic design skills that can also be applied outside the presentation space such as print, digital and video production.Software:Expertise in MS Office: PowerPoint and Word.
