Job summary This position will primarily lead the procurement of C.H.
Robinson airfreight services with regional airlines on global trade lanes and support the development of Airfreight businesses and solutions.
The major responsibilities of the role are to manage regional airlines relationships, negotiate airfreight rates and services with assigned airlines and co-loaders in all trade lanes, and fulfil the space capacity demand are met with maximized value and profitability created to the Company including preparing periodic reports to the Management for performance review and global airfreight strategy alignment.ResponsibilitiesManage, complete, and respond to airfreight pricing requests in accordance with assigned due dates or service level agreements for new and existing customers for Airfreight productSource for competitive costs and ensure sufficient cargo space capacity to meet customer requirementsWork closely with Key Account Management and Tender teams on RFQ pricing strategyMaintain long term and strong airlines and co-loaders relationships for the continuous expansion of C.H.
Robinson global airfreight service productsDevelop strong knowledge of industry trends and market drivers related to modes, products, services, pricing, and sectors that may impact strategic planning or execution and acts as a subject matter expert in communicating with various internal stakeholdersSupport other ad-hoc tasks as requiredQualificationsMinimum 2 years of pricing experience in global forwarding or international logistics company.Familiar with ocean services contract negotiation and operations in NVOCC.Fluent in spoken and written English (mandatory), and/or Mandarin to liaise with Chinese associates if required.Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.Familiar with Airfreight operations and rates sourcingAdvanced interpersonal communication skills and negotiation skillsEqual Opportunity and Affirmative Action EmployerC.H.
