Job Title:Pricing Specialist
Reports To:Assistant Manager, Revenue Management
Role Purpose:Deliver and implement MAB revenue plan and pricing strategies for designated area through rigorous, constant, and forensic evaluation and analysis of trading conditions, price levels and competitive positioning to determine optimal pricing levels and structures for each route/market.
Key Accountability:
Deliver the passenger revenue budget for designated responsibilities through execution of successful pricing strategies and contribute positively to RMD strategy formulation.
Deliver, implement and maintain relevant and competitive fares, conditions and rules in line with MAB pricing strategy in designated routes/markets/market segments.
Using best-practice tools and processes, systematically monitor and react to fares/conditions movements in the market through analysis of competitor activity to ensure MAB's price position and alignment with strategy, whilst providing insight into market dynamics.
Contribute positively to pricing strategy formulation for designated responsibilities.
Continuously analyze market conditions and the competitive landscape and make recommendations as to pricing strategy potential pricing actions to improve MAB revenue generation and optimisation to Head of Revenue Management Operations.
Deliver proactive and reactive Pricing initiatives in a timely and accurate manner and perform fare integrity and fare maintenance activities on a regular basis.
Qualifications & Working Experience:Degree in numerical discipline (e.g.
Economics, Operations Research, etc.)
with 1 - 2 years of working experience in related commercial/analytics experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
Accountability and ownership of area of responsibility and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and negotiation skills; pricing knowledge will be a recommendation.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to interpret large and complex volumes of data to identify trends and solutions.
Creative problem solving and strong commercial acumen.
