Develop and implement transfer pricing policies and procedures tailored to clients' specific
business models.
Documentation and Compliance:
Oversee the preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation, including local files
and master files, in compliance with the OECD guidelines and local regulations.
Ensure timely submission of transfer pricing reports and compliance with local tax
authority requirements.
Client Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique transfer
pricing challenges and providing tailored solutions.
Conduct meetings with clients to discuss transfer pricing issues and present findings and
recommendations.
Analytical Reviews:
Conduct economic and financial analyses to support transfer pricing studies and
documentation.
Analyze market data and industry trends to assist in determining arm's length pricing.
Lead and mentor junior staff in transfer pricing matters, providing training and support in
their professional development.
Coordinate with other teams within the firm to deliver comprehensive tax services to
clients.
Research and Development:
Stay current with changes in transfer pricing regulations and best practices, assessing their
implications for clients.
Contribute to the development of internal knowledge resources and thought leadership
materials on transfer pricing.
Audit Support:
Assist clients during tax audits and disputes related to transfer pricing matters, providing
necessary documentation and support.
Manage the assigned portfolio, monitoring progress and ensuring timely delivery.
Report the status of ongoing assignments to clients and senior management to meet
deadlines and achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a professional
qualification such as CTA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, preferably in a professional
services firm.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian transfer pricing laws and OECD guidelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients
and stakeholders.
