Teaching - Primary (Education & Training)
We are a church-based International School and would like to invite vibrant individuals to holistically deliver the Primary English Curriculum to ensure high standards of teaching and learning. We believe that English is more than just Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening; it is a language that unlocks endless possibilities. As an International English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to ignite a passion for English within our students. Through your enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication, you will help students realize the beauty and practical applications of the English Language in their daily lives. Your ability to make fun English lessons accessible and relatable will empower our students to embrace challenges and develop English skills that extend beyond the classroom.
Who are we looking for individuals with:
Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree in English or Education.
Thorough understanding of classroom management and school protocols.
Comprehensive knowledge on Grammar including other subject-specific content and assessments.
Proficiency in utilizing technology and computer applications as necessary.
Up-to-date with the latest advancements in English teaching methodologies and topics.
Demonstrates strong abilities in logical reasoning, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and computational skills.
Minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience.
What will you need to do:
Teaching up to 18 hours of English lessons per week toprimarystudents.
Instructing students, assigning and grading homework, and maintaining classroom management.
Adapting teaching methods to align with the 21st-century Cross Curricular Curriculum (CCC) approach.
Delivering enrichment and enhancement activities tailored to students' needs.
Valuing and supporting students to help them reach their full potential.
Planning and preparing high-quality teaching and learning materials as per the requirements set by the Division Manager.
Engaging in curriculum development and planning initiatives.
Taking responsibility for achieving targets related to student retention, attendance, academic achievements, high grades, added value, and student satisfaction.
Undertaking additional duties as assigned, including providing cover for absent teachers when necessary.
Conducting or participating in at least one Co-curricular Activity (CCA) program.
Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of students' progress and development.
Participating in marketing activities organized by the school when requested.
