Adcote Matrix International School (AMIS) is an established international school located in Seremban, Malaysia.
The school is approximately 45 minutes away from the capital city of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.
We offer a broad and innovative curriculum from Early Years and Primary Cambridge International Curriculum and IPC, Secondary Cambridge curriculum, IGCSE and A Level based on a combination of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), Cambridge International Curriculum and the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
AMIS is seeking a person who will enable students to achieve their potential in English, mathematics, and science and their development towards other subjects covered in the primary curriculum.
To help students leave AMIS as confident and independent, life-long learners who can communicate their ideas effectively.
We also require a person who takes a progressive, creative approach to teaching and has the necessary skills and vision to enhance the learning and teaching at AMIS in KS1 and KS2.
We seek a teacher who is dedicated to helping our learners maximize their potential and is committed to the well-being and pastoral needs of our learners.
We are seeking professionals who:are UK-trained or equivalent (PGCE or QTS) and have relevant experience of the Cambridge International curriculum and National Curriculum for England and Wales;
We would consider newly qualified teachers or those with teaching experience.
have up-to-date knowledge on the Cambridge International curriculum and the IPC;
can deliver a balanced, broad, and differentiated curriculum for their learners;
can deliver well-planned, rigorous, and interesting learning experiences for their students;
have high expectations of learners with appropriate inspiration and challenge;
encourage and contribute to a well-organized and inspiring learning environment;
have experience of integrating technology into learning and teaching;
have a growth mindset to all aspects of school life;
are passionate and willing to go above and beyond for the school community.
