As Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems for automated machinery, especially sputtering machines. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the software integrates seamlessly with hardware components and meets the required performance and safety standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Software Development: Design, develop, and test applications for automated machinery and equipment.
Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of software with mechanical and electrical components.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues in a timely manner.
Optimization: Optimize software performance to enhance the efficiency and reliability of equipment.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for software applications, including design specifications, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
Compliance: Ensure all software solutions comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development processes and tools.
Training: Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders on the operation and maintenance of software systems.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in any Engineering field.
Minimum 7-10 years of recent experience working in software development for Mitsubishi PLC Programming, GOT Designer, SQL, and In-touch programming.
PREFERRED:
Strong experience in Electronic, Electrical, and Software Development in automated machinery.
SKILLS:
Highly familiar with sputtering technology and machinery.
Good technical communication skills.
