Responsibilities:Ensure all Inspection, Measurement and Test Equipment's (IMTE) in SGM/SGMC comply with the defined quality management system.
Ensure manufacturing readiness from a quality point of view for new product introduction.
Ensure supplier quality management activities comply with the supplier management system.
Ensure adequate metrological and analysis capabilities are available to support qualification, failure analysis, and problem-solving activities.
Ensure conformance to the requirements of ISO9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001, and IATF 16949.
Define departmental road map and ensure successful implementation.
Maintain laboratory and/or departmental accreditation, and quality systems.
Support Design Review in terms of new product quality planning.
Ensure suppliers adhere to quality standards requirements and practice continuous improvement for defect prevention to maximize customer satisfaction.
Be cost-effective and ensure the department is within the revenue and capex budget as planned.
Resource planning and manpower allocation to maximize efficiency.
Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results while driving continuous improvements.
Prioritize and manage cross-functional activities.
Any tasks/projects assigned by your superior(s) from time to time.
Your Profile:Minimum 12 years working experience in the manufacturing field or proven ability in the entitled job position.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Process Technology, or Analysis with a focus on QA/Metrology, or ASQ CQE (ASQ CMQ is preferred) or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Resource planning and budget planning.
Able to collaborate and bridge the communications gap between teams and departments.
Lead, motivate, and mentor subordinates and peers in quality tools, especially in statistical data analysis; ensure right decisions are made based on the results.
Anticipate the needs of internal & external customers and proactively communicate information.
Able to motivate the team; strong decision-making skills; conflict management; knowledge management and employee development; competence in cultivating a learning and customer-focused organization; able to prioritize and delegate tasks; crucial communication and willingness to share information as appropriate for the position.
