Your tasks: Responsible to develop and optimize new manufacturing process in the area of active alignmentIn charge to optimize alignment method and alignment algorithmSpecify new equipment and drive equipment development together with equipment supplierAchieve process capability and stabilize with 6sigma methodsIn charge of the Process FMEA and Process Control PlanSet up documentations like Work Instructions Design experiments (DoE) and analyze results using statistical analysis software to enhance the process capabilities and process yield.Responsible for metrology equipment buy off at vendor site and at manufacturing site including all needed documentations. Accountable to identify and implement continuous improvement activities for efficiency gain and quality improvement Work cross-functionally with multiple groups including Design, Product Engineering, Process Integration, Yield Engineering, Failure Analysis and Quality teams to identify and resolve issues.Summarize complex problems, develop actions to address them, and build consensus across teams to drive for solutions.Define and achieve sub-milestones for your projects within the larger timelines of the overall program needs.Close collaboration with Manufacturing as new product and technology is transferred from R&D phase into production.Your profile: 3-5 years experience in the field of process development within the semiconductor or optical industry ideally in the area of active alignmentUnderstanding of manufacturing processes in optical or semiconductor industry.Proficiency with data analysis, DOE, and statistical techniques.Problem solving methodsGood to have: Experience in programming e.g. Python or C++Good to have: Experience in image analysis and image processingExcellent communication, organizational, and team building skills.Target driven personality with high execution focusBSc/MSC/PhD Degree in Mechatronics / Electronic Engineering / Photonics / Physics / Optics
