Who are we looking for?Optimize and improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
Ensure the smooth functioning of production lines, develop new techniques, modify existing designs and coordinate process improvement projects.
What will you be doing?Analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance operational performance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate workflows, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions to improve productivity and quality.
Process optimization, troubleshooting, project management, identifying improvements to reduce cost, minimize waste and increase efficiency.
Implement lean manufacturing principles, conduct process audits, and develop standard operating procedures.
Who are You?Possess an Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
5-8 years working experience of which at least 4 years in a technical or process engineering related role.
Experience in chemical manufacturing processes such as mixing and blending will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
What competencies will you need?Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to effectively present information to management.
Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
Experience with process automation and control systems.
Knowledge of process simulation software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools.
Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards.
