SMT Engineering (1 position)Tasks & Responsibilities Determine process flow & control system, material usage & tooling used.Ensure specifications of products meet customer requirements.Document process instructions, train & certify trainers & supervise to ensure process instructions are promptly disseminated & implemented at manufacturing floor.Ensure documentation & manufacturing practices comply to Quality, Environmental, Safety, Health & Legal (Statutory and Regulatory) requirements.Continuous to seek & propose for innovative or new technology solution to streamline existing processes for lean manufacturing & wastage reduction.Response to engineering change from customer, transfer into internal documents & implement into the process.Constant involvement in scheduled communication or meeting with customer to ensure customer needs & requirements are fulfilled satisfactory.Continuous monitor, compile, review & improve manufacturing yield using FMEA & DOE approach. Periodical review & brainstorm with quality, material & operation teams for continuous yield improvement.Guide, train & lead downline technicians in daily production line problem solving to meet department goal.Train & supervise downline technicians & engineering operators in the execution of routine preventive maintenance of the tooling used.Take lead in engineering , manufacturing & tooling readiness for NPI.PCB design study & optimization using Design for Manufacturability (DFM) approach. Feedback to customer with recommendation for design improvement to resolve DFM inadequacy.Conduct NPI build, document technical issues, liaise & brainstorm with internal team & customer if necessary to resolve all the issues arise prior to mass production.Best practice, experience & knowledge sharing between this facility & sister facility for mutual benefit.Constant participation in external seminars, workshops & absorb knowledge from e-journal or e-paper for self-knowledge enhancement to apply in work. 2. Back End Process (2 positions) Tasks & Responsibilities Participate in company activities which involve continual improvements on assigned Processes/Product in Manufacturing.Compliance to environmental legislative when performing routine jobs or special tasks within job scope.Discuss with customer on any issues that need support.Coordinate and liaise with related department on any assigned projects.Liaise with customer to support new Product Transfer Activities .Ensure the processes/Equipment are optimized and support Production Target.Guide/coordinate subordinate on tasks and actions required based on priority.To drive and execute KPIs together with subordinate.Other duties assigned. Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics) with minimum 3 years relevant working experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or work experience.For SMT engineering, minimum 2 years of working experience in SMT manufacturing field is required.Candidates possess relevant working experiences as below are advantageous for back end process: - Robotic control experiences
