Process Engineer (Time & Motion)

Responsibilities • To work with management in setting up new time and motion for manufacturing and processes.
• To conduct feasibility studies and process improvement that resulted in space optimization.
• To collaborate with management in the development of processes, plans, and strategies for process implementation and obtaining new manufacturing projects.
• To carry out continuous improvement of processes in order to achieve production optimization.
• To collaborate with other areas of the Plant to find solutions to problems that affect the production.
• Able to do cost saving by eliminating unnecessary workforce in production line via automation.
• Review and check all time and motion output reports.
• Working together with the Planning team on monthly manpower schedule and line balancing.
Requirements • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in Continuous Improvement, Operations, or similar roles/functions.
•The candidate from the furniture /timber industry will have an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this position. • Take ownership, and leadership and be proactive in problem-solving.
• Strong experience in manufacturing and plant processes.
• Knowledgeable in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills in both written and verbal -Bahasa Malaysia & English
• Proactive, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and able to work well in fast pace environment.
