Our client, based in Hong Kong, is a diversified multinational corporation with subsidiaries in almost 30 countries.
As part of their expansion, they are looking for a Process Excellence and Automation Lead to spearhead their global initiatives. Responsibilities & Accountabilities Advocate Lead and apply Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies, such as 5S, Kaizen, Just-In-Time and Value Stream Mapping to optimize operations for the company.
Responsible for the development of employees in Lean Six Sigma, ensuring that they are trained, capable and motivated to deliver results, whilst also coaching and mentoring employees at all levels across the business to embrace the Continuous Improvement culture.
Perform automation process identification, solution design and delivery of automated solutions with business units.
Develop automation solution utilising designated software e.g.,such as Microsoft Power Automate or related RPA software), in accordance with standard design principles and conventions and best practices.
Conduct As-Is process study and design future state / To-Be process through workshops facilitation, Kaizen or Lean Six Sigma / process improvement projects and to establish technically how the automation solution can achieve business needs.
Identify gaps in existing functionalities, options for improvement and opportunities for process automation and quantify potential benefit.
Communicate and collaborate proactively with stakeholders and senior management on Process Excellence and Automation initiatives.
Work with business leaders, department heads and process owners to establish Lean Six Sigma projects scope, coach and manage project teams on process improvement projects across multiple functions.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement Lean Six Sigma initiatives and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
Engage with IT department to ensure adherence with the company's ITs norms and protocols (while this role sits outside the IT function, it will require extensive engagement with the IT team) Qualifications: Degree level qualification, in preferably in technical discipline; or equivalent experience. At least 5 years of automation / RPA development experience with proven track records of successful implementation.
Other working experience in process improvement projects, executing automation projects / initiatives and agile methodology is an added advantage.
Must have at least 5 years minimum experience in process improvement related capability.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Black Belt is preferred).
Experience in Software development life cycle methodology Preferably strong programming skills in .NET, C#, VBScript, and SQL.
