We are looking for a Senior/Specialist for Process Improvement to join our team. As a Senior/Specialist for Process Improvement, you will be responsible for executing and managing business process analysis, development and improvement using various methods including automation.
This role combines statistical analysis, stakeholder management, technical and non-technical process research and automation tools/platforms with project management skills. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Process Improvement
Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement
Develop and document process maps, workflows, standard operating procedures, and best practices
Apply data analytics tools and techniques to measure, monitor, and report on process performance and outcomes
Implement process improvement solutions using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Kanban, BPM/BPA, SIPOC, VSM, Kaizen or other related methodologies
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of process management, improvement or automation
Manage process improvement projects from initiation to closure, ensuring timely and quality delivery
Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across different levels and functions to ensure alignment and buy-in
Provide training and coaching to process owners and users on process improvement tools and techniques
Evaluate and monitor the impact and sustainability of process improvement initiatives
2. Project Management:
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of process improvement or automation projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope
Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
Manage project team and stakeholders and provide guidance/coaching with clear objectives and performance expectations for the team.
3. Technical Expertise:
Possess strong knowledge process improvement, document and records management and work closely with the team to design process improvement solutions that meet business requirements.
Review and optimize process/automation processes for efficiency and scalability.
Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in process improvement and automation-related technology.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities.
Work closely with other IT teams to integrate process/automation solutions with existing systems and processes.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
4. Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce best practices within the team and process
Conduct reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards
Implement relevant strategies to ensure the reliability and accuracy of implemented solutions
5. Documentation and Training:
Document process, automation processes, workflows, and configurations
Provide training and support to business users on process improvement or relevant solutions effectively
Develop and maintain technical documentation for business process, improvement or automation projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology, business, engineering, or other related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of experience in process improvement, data analytics, project management, information management and automation environment – exceptional self-starter will be considered
Proficient in data analytics tools and software such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, or other related tools
Knowledgeable in document and records management systems and standards such as SharePoint, ISO, or NARA
Certified or trained in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other related methodologies
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with proven experience in leading and managing technical teams
Strong understanding of process improvement and automation concepts and technologies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others
Detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think creatively and innovatively
Experience in the IT banking and Telecommunications sector would be an added advantage
