Job Title: Process Safety Engineer – FPSO ProjectsJob Type: Full TimeLocation: Singapore or IndonesiaJob DescriptionThe Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for ensuring process safety throughout the FPSO project lifecycle, including design, construction, commissioning, and operations phases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree inChemical Engineering ,Process Engineering , or a related field.
5 to 20 years of experience in process safety, preferably in theoil & gassector and withFPSO projects .
A clear understanding of the role of both consultancy and execution phases.
Strong knowledge ofinternational safety standardsandregulatory requirementsapplicable to FPSOs.
Proficiency in process safety analysis tools.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support process safety activities throughout the FPSO project lifecycle.
ConductHAZID ,HAZOP , and other process hazard analyses to identify and mitigate risks.
Develop and review safety studies such asFire and Gas Detection ,Emergency Shutdown Systems ,Blast Overpressure Analysis , andQuantitative Risk Assessments (QRA) .
Work with multidiscipline engineering teams to ensure process safety is integrated into engineering designs and operational strategies.
Provide expertise in the application ofSafety Integrity Levels (SIL)andLayer of Protection Analysis (LOPA)methodologies.
Ensure compliance withinternational safety regulationssuch as API, OSHA, IEC, and local regulatory standards.
Interface with theowner's safety management teamto ensure alignment of safety strategies and deliverables.
Support the development and implementation of theSafety Management System (SMS)for FPSO facilities.
Review and approve safety-related technical documentation.
Participate in design reviews, safety audits, and incident investigations.
Ensure that contractor designs comply with safety requirements for all stages of the project.#J-18808-Ljbffr
