Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Job Summary:The Procurement Administrator supports the procurement department in managing the purchasing process and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. This role involves coordinating procurement activities, maintaining accurate records, and fostering relationships with suppliers to achieve optimal purchasing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders.
Maintain procurement records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and manage contracts.
Monitor inventory levels and track order statuses to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
Support the procurement team in analyzing purchasing data and trends.
Collaborate with internal departments to identify purchasing needs and specifications.
Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain a database of approved vendors.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Qualifications:
Fresh graduates are welcome.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or administrative support is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
