Job Responsibilities:Responsible for acquiring materials, equipment, instruments, and services needed for projects.
Work closely with the engineering & R&D departments to analyze technical requirements, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers based on product specifications and cost targets.
Responsible for supplier management, such as supplier sourcing, selection, and evaluation.
Responsible for cost reduction and price negotiation.
Expedite and ensure timely delivery from suppliers/vendors, including receipt of goods on delivery to fulfill production & project schedules.
Maintain and update purchasing documents/records.
Verify and process invoices and submit to Accounts Department.
Job Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.
Familiar with sourcing of mechanical & electrical engineering parts/materials.
Ability to review engineering drawings, provide feedback and cost reduction proposals, and develop a sourcing plan.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good command of English.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Responsible, motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
