The Procurement Junior Administrator provides administrative procurement support, helping to streamline and optimize the procurement process. This entry-level role involves assisting with the day-to-day management of purchasing activities, maintaining records, coordinating communication with suppliers, and ensuring that all procurement tasks are executed efficiently and in compliance with company policies.
\n Your Adventures AheadSupplier Communication:Serve as a point of contact for suppliers regarding set-up inquiresAssist in maintaining positive relationships with suppliers by ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of issues.Stakeholder CommunicationServe as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding set-up inquiresAssist in maintaining positive relationships with suppliers by ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of issues.Documentation & Compliance:Ensure that procurement processes comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.Help prepare reports on procurement activities, highlighting any areas of concern or improvement.Procurement System Management:Update and maintain data in procurement systems or databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Assist in generating reports from procurement systems to track expenses, deliveries, and performance.Cross-functional Coordination:Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, logistics, operations) to ensure smooth procurement processes.Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. Essentials to succeedDiploma or Degree graduateAt least 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing environmentStrong understanding of procurement processes and terminologyStrong organizational and time-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with procurement software or systems is a plus.Strong understanding of procurement processes and terminology is an advantage.Desired Skills & Attributes: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to administrative tasks.Willingness to learn and grow in the procurement field.
