Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing procurement processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. You will play a key role in maintaining supplier relationships, optimizing procurement strategies, and ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management:Source and select suppliers/vendors for required materials, products, and services.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and agreements in compliance with company policies.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring high levels of service and reliability.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
Inventory and Stock Management:Coordinate with internal teams to assess and forecast material requirements, ensuring stock levels are maintained to meet business needs.
Track and monitor deliveries to ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods.Market Research and Analysis:Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and best practices.
Continuously analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.Compliance and Reporting:Ensure all procurement activities adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and cost analysis for management review.Cost Control:Assist in developing and managing procurement budgets.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction through negotiation and process optimization.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier negotiation, and contract management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Preferably fluent in reading and writing in Mandarin.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with procurement software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CIPS, CPIM).
Knowledge of industry-specific procurement trends and best practices.
Experience in global sourcing or international procurement.
