Drives supplier & part selection in I2M together with Commodity Team
Orders tools and samples in relation to NPI's
Supports phase-in/phase-out planning related to NPI.
Manages Customization & Engineering to Order Projects
Identifies opportunities in new design process through early supplier involvement
Ensures procurement related risks are controlled and mitigated
Supports and executes the implementation of commodity strategies, DFX and VE cost reduction plans
Supports the negotiation teams with conceptual and fact-based information and opportunities to drive significant structural cost reduction improvement
Meets procurement savings cost targets
Develops I2M/Total Cost of Ownership cost roadmaps & linkage to margin management
Reports Procurement KPI's
Supports the Supplier Quality team in new supplier component release process as part of the Advanced Quality Plan (AQP), including compliance and sustainability aspects
Initiates and executes cost optimization initiatives both in new product introduction projects as well as in the existing portfolio
Supports standardization and complexity reduction
Manages cross-functional team projects in DFX convention and VE programs
More about you
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Advanced knowledge of DFX conventions, cost modelling, value engineering (L1/L2), TCO management in I2M
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and techniques (5xWhy, 8D, Fault tree, etc.)
Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
