Qualification: Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent.
Working Experience/Skills: 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in electrical and electronics assembly manufacturing industry with comprehensive knowledge of procurement activities.
Main duties: Sourcing Manufacturing component parts with supplier Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditionsPrepare and issue purchase orders and agreementsMonitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concernsInspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomingsLead or facilitate the supplier selection and negotiation process through the use of standard tools and capabilities (RFQ, RFP, etc)Manage current suppliers through annual Supplier Scorecard processResearch, identify, and evaluate potential international suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and other relevant criteria.Conduct supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms for the procurement of goods and materials.Monitor supplier performance, resolve any issues, and maintain effective communication channels to address concerns and maintain strong relationships.Analyse market trends, supplier capabilities, and economic factors to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement in the sourcing process.Continuously evaluate and improve sourcing strategies to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier contracts, pricing agreements, and other relevant documentation.Collaborate with the cross functional team to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely availability of goods.Lead and organise supplier annual audit planLead QA related issues with supplier i.e NCR, CAPA and etc.Candidates with Mechanical background will be an added advantage.Others: To abide to all Company rules and regulations including awareness of Company's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.To read, understand and be in compliance with the Company's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics and its related policies at all times.To comply with the Company's Risk Management Manual , Policy and Procedures and related instructions including awareness and carry out the roles and responsibilities required under the documents.To carry out any other duties and job functions as and when required by the company or any person(s) acting on behalf of the company.
