Help support eSourcing events, including steps such as pre-event agreement facilitation, Baselining, event set up, event execution, Supplier briefing, Q&A, Presentations, preparation of scorecards and quantitative bid analysis.
Help Sourcing Leads with Category Strategy development for specified clients to identify project opportunities that achieve client goals and mature their procurement function.
Develop relevant RFx documents for projects or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations.
Ensures completeness of project RFx documentation and provides key inputs into the structure of each project.
Assist in the reporting of project and category specific savings results to customers.
Support contract formation activities for low to medium complexity contracts.
Support problem-solving and issue resolution efforts to support customer satisfaction.
Tactical Sourcing / Spot Buy:
Have strong knowledge of RFQ to build spot buy strategies and should be able to guide team.
Validating the requisition information provided by the requester and ensure there would be no gaps prior to RFQ initiation.
Be able to identify the correct vendor from order history, Category cards and preferred supplier list.
Build negotiation strategies to execute fact-based negotiations and obtain long/short term discounts.
Support other Procurement members in obtaining spot buy savings.
Strategies for improvement in current processes in coordination with all the stakeholders like suppliers, and other departments.
Approve PR for auto PO creation, PO amendments/deletions based on requests.
Job Qualification
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferably with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in sourcing/procurement/supply chain management function working with customers, and suppliers (APAC).
Spot Buy and Sourcing Support (e-RFx and e-Auction) experience is a MUST.
Proficient in English and Japanese language.
Pharmaceutical/healthcare industry experience is preferred.
Proven analytical skills in terms of numeric (e.g. spreadsheets) and text based (e.g. reading terms and conditions) analysis, converting information into tangible recommendations to clients.
Experience of working with clients and stakeholders in international environment.
