Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)
Identifying reliable vendors/suppliers and evaluating their quality, timeliness, and price, and updating their list against their performance.
Participating in discussions regarding prices and quality with vendors/suppliers to find the best deal for services, products, equipment, and/or systems for the Company.
Tracking and analyzing market trends, pricing, product availability, compiling and computing cost data/factors, and providing cost data/trends reports as required.
Supporting the tracking of orders and expediting shipments, and verifying the quality of goods/services received timely against stipulated procurement requirements.
Liaising with vendors/suppliers, authorities, internal departments/sections, and any other persons as needed to ensure fulfillment of duties.
Assisting with customs clearance, logistics, and other necessary tasks.
Assisting in organizing meetings, preparing meeting records, and coordinating/implementing agreed actions.
Undertaking other jobs assigned by superiors as required from time to time.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or equivalent.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field.
Possesses good research, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiar with local and international markets, especially in raw materials and basic pricing.
