Procurement / Purchasing Executive

Identifying reliable vendor/suppliers and evaluating their quality, timeliness, and price and to update their list against their performance;
To participate in discussing prices and quality with vendors/supplier to find the best deal of services, products, equipment and/or system for the Company;
To track and analyze market trends, pricing, product availability, compile and compute cost data/factors, and provide cost data/trends reports as required;
To support in tracking orders and expediting shipment, and in verifying the quality of informing goods/services received timely against stipulated procurement requirements;
To liaise with vendors/supplier, authorities, internal departments/sections and any other persons as needed to ensure fulfillment of his/her duties;
Assist in customs clearance, logistics and other necessary works;
To assist in organizing meetings, preparing meeting records and coordinating/implementing agreed actions;
To undertake other jobs assigned by superiors as required from time to time.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or equivalent;
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia;
At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field;
Possesses good research, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
Familiar with local and international market, especially in raw material and basic pricing.
