Main Purpose of Job:- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies.- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising staff, and allocating tasks.- Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.- Maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.- Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.- Coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs.- Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.- Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.- Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.- Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.- Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.- Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.- Identify cost reduction opportunities.- To involve in the Quality Environment Management System (QEMS).- To adhere to Environment, Health & Safety regulations and requirements at all times.- Ensuring the business meets all its statutory, compliance obligations and renewal all licenses.- Perform any other ad-hoc duties designated by Superior or the Management as and when required.**Requirements**:- Diploma or Degree in business administration or a related field.- Experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar position.- Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.- Supervisory and management experience.- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills.- Strong planning and organizational skills.**Salary**: RM8,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per monthSchedule:- Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):- Are you able to communicate with Kastam office and understand kastam policy?- Do you have knowledge of inventory and supply chain management ?**Education**:- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (required)**Experience**:- Purchasing Manager: 3 years (required)
