Responsible to conduct in-depth analysis for Wipro MSSB total Supply Chain process, to then develop strong local system/solution that will align to global supply chain system, ensure continuous improvement and state of the art technology for local execution.
Working closely with local and regional COE team to establish service level standard SOP against quality assurance measures providing accurate and consistent supply chain service delivery.
Understand end user requirements through engagement of local procurement and by leveraging the applicable category buying guide and sourcing knowledge to determine the best method for driving value in meeting the supply chain and business requirements.
Procurement Management
Working closely with local sourcing teams to identify & deploy and consolidate system/best practices covering procurement, supply chain, warehousing system, production planning across all technology and non-technology category as well as risk assessments.
Review data and design documentation procedures/process flow and work instructions for procurement to ensure cost efficient sourcing activities to be carried out.
Work closely with the Purchasing Manager to design a Procurement organization that has the structure, process, technology, talent practices, metrics needed to deliver plans and build for future.
Reduction of Plastic Consumption in Packaging - Conduct Analysis on current packaging and decrease current plastic consumption by 5%.
Work with vendors to ensure they are aligned with our low cost approach.
Optimization of SKUs Packaging.
Warehousing & Inventory Management
Reviewing transactions, understanding local inventory management system, assisting in developing and implementing new processes to optimize inventory and material management, as well as managing component inventory risk.
Leads project impacting inventory optimization, standardize inventory management process and drive for consistency.
Project Management
Undertake multiple projects, managing report cycle, escalate major and emerging incidents & issues, make to analysis, conduct root cause analysis, and develop long term and sustainable solution & process for a high performance business.
Managing projects in identifying relevant system/best practices from market and manage the rolling out of best practices locally.
To involve and act as project lead for development of monitoring system ensuring adherence to sourcing and procurement and supply chain processes, policies, and procedures.
Working closely with Sales and Management developing solutions that address customer's requirements with cost-effective, high-quality logistics solutions which can be effectively implemented and executed.
Cost Saving/eSCOPs - To involve as a main member for all Cost saving, eSCOPs initiatives. Initiate & participate in Project managing Warehouse Space Optimization.
Knowledge Transfer
Travel as and when needed to conduct plant/process specific analysis in identifying best practices and managing technology transfer coordination.
Networking internally with global and regional supply chain/procurement team, commercial teams, delivery teams, finance teams, etc., to gain first-hand information, best practices and industry knowledge, market intelligence, pricing strategy, technical know-how and tools/solutions/system.
Transfer know-how and develop a capable local team in managing gap analysis, converting raw data for pricing strategy, used processed data for resource planning and cost modeling.
Process Enhancement & Continuous Improvement
Study the market requirements for labels & determine the right technologies & printing methods & implement them in current procurement of + labels to achieve high quality product at low costs.
Identify and propose mitigation plan on risks that would impact the overall business/failure from supply chain/procurement perspective.
Consolidating local needs to a regional perspective and ensuring a focus on efficiency and the quality of customer service and service level standard.
Demand Planning
Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Customer Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Track and monitor closely on accuracy of demand planning made by tracking of sales and marketing forecast accuracy.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Engineering or Science-related field.
8 to 10 years of substantial experience in analytics, process improvement, and cost management.
Candidates from any industry are welcome, with a preference for candidates from FMCG/CPG industry and/or with a consultancy background.
Excellent understanding of Supply Chain Operations and Procurement processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze data and develop data-driven solutions.
Proficiency in Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen or other process improvement methodologies.
Extensive experience in cost optimization analysis and process improvements projects for both commercial and non-commercial projects.
