Job Title: Product Design ManagerThe Product Design Manager is responsible for managing user interface and user experience related activities within the organization.
The main goal is to design high-quality product experiences that solve customer problems and drive sustainable revenue.
The Product Design Manager will lead a team of designers to create world-class user experiences across all CTOS' product suite as determined by the General Manager of Product.
The Product Design Manager is expected to take ownership of the product design and be an active facilitator to communicate the thinking with other designers, product managers, engineers, customer support, and salespeople.
ResponsibilitiesLead a team of UI/UX designers to design the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for a variety of websites, web applications, and mobile apps.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to develop a deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, aspirations, and behaviors.
Deliver contextual insights that help to frame our strategic opportunities and priorities.
Understand customers and their needs through market analysis, usability research, and customer feedback.
Design the user interface and interaction flow of services and experiences.
Develop customer workflows, journey maps, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes.
Address product, brand, marketing, content, and overall user experience.
Participate in product development planning and review sessions where applicable.
Mentor, train, and coach junior designers.
Minimum RequirementsPossess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Business, Design, Psychology, Computer Science, HCI, Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in interaction design, information architecture, or visual design (preferably agency or consultancy).
Proven track record of hands-on user-interface design leadership; demonstrated understanding of user-centered design principles.
Comfortable leading a UX effort independently or working as part of a team.
SkillsInteractive prototyping.
User research – focus group, A/B Testing, survey.
