Job Responsibilities
Develop technical understanding of products brought to market.
Lead new product development projects assigned by superior or customer input and requirement.
Assist team with prototype testing, generating reports, measuring performance metrics, and delivering new innovative products.
Help organize go-to-market, digital marketing campaigns, and trade fairs/conferences promoting newly launched products within local/overseas markets and coordinate/execute workshops.
Liaise with respective departments to create a product plan that identifies the product scope and objectives for new products.
Provide technical support, problem-solving, and identifying root causes.
Participate and exchange knowledge in processes, technology, material, and product technology.
Participate in the commissioning of newly installed equipment, including the development of commissioning processes for machinery.
Exhibit flexibility in work schedule to support operations during the initial stage of mass production.
Actively support and participate in driving reliability initiatives through root cause analysis, idea generation, and project execution.
Recommend process and equipment modifications to improve plant performance.
Assist and work closely with the Business Development Manager to expedite tasks and undertake extra responsibilities as assigned by superior.
Report the progress of the projects through monthly progress reports.
Job Requirements
Diploma/degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical or related field.
Minimum 1-year experience in product development field.
Skills required in problem-solving, advanced MS Office, manpower management and supervision, decision-making ability, leadership, time management, and organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as teamwork.
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
