About the roleAs the Product Development Manager (Inbound) at Luxury Tours (M) Sdn Bhd, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing the company's inbound travel offerings.
Based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, this full-time position will see you spearheading the development of innovative and compelling travel packages that cater to the diverse needs of our customers.
What you'll be doing
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer preferences in the inbound travel segment
Develop and curate unique travel itineraries and packages that showcase the best of Malaysia and the surrounding region
Negotiate with suppliers, including hotels, transportation providers, and activity operators, to secure the best rates and experiences for our customers
Work with the Sales team and Online Department to design packages that drive sales revenue
Monitor product performance and customer feedback, and make data-driven adjustments to continuously improve our offerings
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, visa requirements, and other relevant developments to ensure compliance
Mentor and support the product development team to foster a culture of innovation and excellence
Ensure products are uploaded into the system and communicated to all other departments/clients
Attend relevant travel trade shows and industry functions for relationship building and market intelligence to develop products
Conduct regular training/briefing sessions for relevant departments on any new products/services
Carry out any other job function assigned by management from time to time
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, with a strong focus on inbound travel product development
Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills to work effectively with suppliers
Proven ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and data to inform product development decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively present and promote our travel offerings
Familiarity with the Malaysian tourism landscape and a deep understanding of the local culture and attractions
A passion for travel and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, good organizational and multitasking skills
Meticulous and able to work under pressure
